3/28/2024 0 Comments Week 6: The End Of An EraThis week, I spent some time taking senior photos. The pictures turned out very well. We took the pictures at different locations in downtown Mocksville, some of which I have taken pictures for previous weeks at. I did not edit the pictures this week because I thought they looked good without editing.
As we were taking pictures, I realized that pictures looked better when they were taken in the shade. It was also much easier to take pictures in the shade. Taking pictures in the sunlight, you have to worry about glares and unwanted shadows. When attempting to take pictures in direct sunlight, there was a lot of brightness in the background that would be difficult to edit out of the picture. Although I think that pictures in the shade look better, I still am going to make it a point to get better at taking pictures in direct sunlight. This week was one of the easier weeks. Like I said before, I think I am better when it comes to taking pictures of people. We got all of our ideas for poses from Pinterest and Lemon8, as I did before. Taking pictures of people is always a fun experience. These pictures were bitter sweet since they were senior pictures. I am so glad I had a part in taking them. The memories behind these pictures will be something held onto forever. A Reflection Of This Week: Good Things: -I got to take pictures that will forever hold memories. -I have gotten better at coming up with and looking for poses. -I have gotten better at angles of taking pictures.
